One of my friends got this yahoo messenger worm. The virus wanted to send a scandal.avi.exe file to everyone he was talking to. I tried many things, but the simplest solution is to use this removal tool:

Just unzip and execute.
Check if your antivirus software works fine (scan is ok, updates and so on). Rescan the computer.
